From an idea to a device that actually works.

Borales is a small maker studio in Eindhoven. We design, print and build devices that each solve one real problem.

FanBridge v1 on a dark studio floor, a barrel plug in each end and the USB-C port facing forward

Meet FanBridge v1.

Our first device lets your Bambu Lab printer run your air filter over one 4-pin cable - no more babysitting the filter. Coming to the shop soon.

How it all fits together.

FanBridge lives entirely on your own network: no cloud, no account, nobody else’s server. Use its built-in web UI, Home Assistant or both. The firmware is open, so you can even switch the web UI off if you’d rather not have it.

The little box itself. It listens to the printer and drives your air filter’s fan.

Your network

Everything stays at home: no cloud, no account.

FanBridge v1

FanBridge never needs the internet to do its job. If your internet goes down, the filter won’t even notice.

On by default

Web UI

Built right into the firmware. Open the device in any browser - or switch the web UI off in the config if you don’t need it.

More devices are on the bench right now. We’ll show them once they work - half-finished prototypes stay in the drawer.

Every device does its job on your own network. No account to create, no internet required.

Our devices run ESPHome, and the configs are public. Read them, tweak them, flash your own - it’s your device.

One job each.

A device should do one thing really well, then quietly get out of your way.
